The Fueled Prodigy fuses Ed Brown’s 1911 craftsmanship with the Springfield Armory Prodigy double-stack platform. Ed Brown fits a machined aluminum grip module in Black Gen4 with a proprietary texture, then adds its Memory Groove beavertail, machined ambidextrous safety, wire-EDM hammer and sear, hand-fitted extractor and throated barrel, a flattened 40 LPI serrated slide top, recessed crown and full dehorn.
The result is a rugged, visually striking firearm that maintains a substantial, competition-ready weight of about 39 ounces, optimized for duty, defense and performance shooting. “Prodigy” is a trademark of Springfield Armory; the base pistol is a Springfield Armory Prodigy.
