The BDS9 Commander is the next evolution in double stack 1911 performance, now available in a more compact 4.25″ configuration. Built with the same precision engineering and premium features as the original 5″ BDS9 Government, this Commander model offers enhanced carry potential without compromising shootability or capacity.

Highlights: Full-length dust cover; Monolithic recon frame; Factory IOS optic ready; Heinie Ledge solid black rear sight; Fiber optic front sight. Each pistol is hand built start to finish by a single Nighthawk Custom gunsmith in Berryville, Arkansas.

How you'll receive it

Ordered to build: your card is charged at checkout and we place the order on our dealer allocation the same day. Call us if you would rather reserve it with a deposit and pay the balance before transfer.

  • Pick up in Lake Stevens, by appointment (Washington residents). Federal Form 4473, the Washington application and proof of firearm-safety training at your first visit; we submit the state background check ($36). Washington requires ten business days from that request before any firearm is handed over.
  • Ship to your dealer in any state where this item is legal, free of charge. Your dealer emails us a signed copy of their licence (27 CFR 478.94); we match it against ATF's FFL eZ Check before it ships. Their transfer fee and state rules apply at pickup.
