The E9 is the first full-size frame in the Evolution series. Optimized for the 9mm cartridge, the E9 is smaller, thinner and lighter than the Executive Commander while retaining 100% 1911 controls and handling characteristics and standard 1911 magazines.
Optimized for 9mm, the EVO keeps 100% 1911 controls and standard 1911 magazines while re-engineered parts add an external extractor, easy-to-change front sight, bull barrel and flat-wire recoil system. The 4″ slide is thinned for weight reduction and carries the unique 7-top custom cut with special front and rear serrations.
