The Classic 22 Target pistol is for the bullseye target shooter. It is built on the Ruger MK IV stainless steel frame and features a stainless steel receiver paired with a 6″ Volquartsen match barrel, digitally gauged and stress-relieved. The MK IV frame retains Ruger’s push-button disassembly and is updated with the Volquartsen Accurizing Kit for a crisp, clean 2.25 lb trigger pull.
The kit includes a CNC-machined trigger and disconnector with a wire-EDM cut hammer and sear in A2 tool steel, and the bolt is upgraded with the SureStrike firing pin and Exact Edge extractor. Its weight, balance and feel recall the classic target pistols of years gone by; its performance shows what is possible with today’s technology.
