Volquartsen’s stainless barreled action starts with a CNC-machined stainless steel receiver with integral rail, threaded to accept the stainless barrel of your choice. The CNC-machined bolt has a titanium firing pin and tuned extractor, the TG2000 trigger gives a crisp 2.25 lb pull, and every barrel is digitally gauged to proprietary match bore and chamber tolerances: bolt-action accuracy from a semi-auto.
One of Volquartsen’s most unique rifles, the SF-1 features the signature snake fluting with removable Forward Blow compensator. Snake fluting dissipates more heat than straight flutes but is more rigid than spiral flutes, cooling the barrel during long strings and cutting about 5 oz of weight.
